Nihonmachi Nite 2012

August 28
We recently attended a festival in Japantown, International District called Nihonmachi Nites with some of our friends and followed it with Combodian dinner. Though I do not have any pictures from dinner and very few from festival, I have loads of pictures of me dancing on the streets to some japanese music and steps the crew was teaching. And that’s always a good thing, right? 😉

Traditional drum performance

I know I drag him to such events but he always plays along!

At a booth selling some chinese crockery

And then anyone who wanted to learn a step or two stood in a circle and danced away!

That precise moment when you look back to find your husband in the crowd, and he is also waiting for you to look in his direction, just to get this shot!

Dance away!

We do not remember the words clearly but we remember the tune and have been making words of our own to fit in there!

This picture is from the their official photo album of the festival. If you wish to view more pictures from the festival, they are here.
See you soon!
