Seattle got its very own version of London eye called Seattle Great Wheel this summers. On a sunny clear day, it promises views of Seattle skyline, downtown buildings, Space needle, Cascade mountains, Elliot bay.
We wanted to avoid the inaugural rush and skipped going in summers. Had we known Seattle would have more sunny, clear and hot days we are having these days, we would have pushed the visit a little further. But we made it a part of our anniversary celebrations and enjoyed some beautiful views.

There was still about half an hour wait
The ride lasts about 15 minutes and as far as I remember there were a total of 4 rounds.
A kind person in front of us saw us struggling to take our own picture and offered his help

We ended the afternoon with some quick fish and chips at Ivar’s…
… with the view of water, ships and over-enthusiastic seagulls!
Hope you are having a great monday full of smiles!
